How they differ from the big Korean spas
A women-only Korean spa is usually the bath side on its own: hot and cold tubs, steam and dry saunas, scrub tables, and a quiet room to rest in. There is normally no shared floor with a restaurant and rows of sauna rooms, so they are smaller and calmer.
Every other Korean spa also has a women's bath area that men cannot enter. The difference is only that the rest of the building is shared.
Before you go to a women-only spa
- The baths are used without clothes, as at any Korean spa.
- Many are adults only or set a minimum age. Each spa's page has its rule.
- Scrubs are the main draw. See Korean body scrub prices.
